Linda Celestino is Oman Air’s General Manager Inflight Services. She has 25 years of experience in the airline industry across 6 airlines and varied continents. This has given her a unique experience in both the operational and product/service development world.

Alfy Veretto, Virgin America

Alfy Veretto is Virgin America’s Manager of IFE and Partnerships where he maintains the IFE department for Virgin America. He previously developed the IFE department for Frontier Airlines from 2002 - 2008. Before his years in the airline industry, he was the Program Director for KECY-TV, dealing with TV syndication and movie studio relationships.

Alfy is the Chair of the Nominating Committee and Co-Chair of the Membership Committee.

Dominic has 15 years of experience in the airline passenger experience business - with a focus on IFE - in a variety of content marketing, project management and client service roles. He is currently the Senior Director, Content Business at Thales Avionics, Inc. Previously, he was the Senior Director of Client Services at Spafax.

Dominic previously served on the Education Committee and the Awards Task Force. He is continuing his role as Chair of the Governance, Events & EXPO and Awards. Since 2009, he has served as Secretary on the WAEA/APEX board.

After receiving her MBA, Joan joined Bank of America in the Capital Markets Sales group concentrating in Investment Banking and Hedging Products for large investment borrowers.  With her emphasis in Finance, she then joined the team that produced the DreamWorks business plan.  After raising her children and deciding to get back into the work force she rejoined DreamWorks as Head of Non Theatrical Sales in 2000 as well as heading distribution for Go Fish Pictures.  Joan joined Paramount in 2006 and is currently the Senior Vice President Non Theatrical Distribution.

Joan is the Chair of the Finance Committee and TV Market Conference Task Force.  

     
     
Chris Babb

Chris has nine years of experience in the airline industry, with four years focused exclusively on the aircraft experience. He is currently the Senior Product Manager, Customer Experience at Delta Air Lines. 

Chris served as Chair of the Marketing & Communications Committee from 2009-11 and played a large part in the planning, communication and managing key votes that saw the change of the association’s name, introduction of the new APEX brand, new communication vehicles (APEX Daily SmartBrief) and the complete overhaul of the APEX Web site. He also served as a member of the Awards Committee in 2010 and 2011, contributing to successful award ceremonies. Chris currently Co-Chairs the Marketing & Communications Committee.

Kevin Bremer currently holds the position of Manager, Cabin Systems Technical Center for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. His previous responsibilities at Boeing Commercial Airplanes include the positions of IFE Feature Strategy Airplanes, IFE Technology Manager, IFE Installation Manager and Customer Engineer (IFE Option Manager).

Kevin has been actively involved in APEX since 2000 including Co-Chairing the Education Committee and serving as Chair of the Avion Task Force. Kevin was re-elected to the Board and will serve a two-year term. He will continue to Chair the Education Committee, which has organized a number of successful events over the year.

     
     
Neil James  

Neil James, Panasonic Avionics Corporation

Neil James is the Executive Director, Corporate Sales & Product Management at Panasonic Avionics Corporation. He has 15 years of experience in the IFE industry and has worked for MBM Technology, Sony Trans Com and Rockwell Collins prior to joining Panasonic. His career has encompassed several disciplines including Engineering, Project Management, Customer & OEM Support, OnBoard Services, Product Marketing, Content Licensing (Applications, Software, Audio, Video, Creative), Digital Content Management, Software Development, Public Relations, Tradeshows & Events and Airline Sales. 

Neil is involved with APEX special projects and reporting. He is serving his second of a two-year term.

     
     
 

Luay Qunash, Royal Jordanian Airline

Luay Qunash is the director, inflight for Royal Jordanian Airline. He has a number of years’ experience in the aviation industry. Prior to this role, he was the manager, inflight entertainment, held various managerial positions at inflight services departments and was a steward for 8 years.

He will serve as Co-Chair of the Membership Committee.

 

 

     
 

Ian Walberg, Airborne Interactive Ltd.

Ian Walberg is the CEO of Airborne Interactive Ltd. and an active APEX member. In addition to his time at his current company, he has previously worked for in the IFE industry for Inflight Productions, Virgin Atlantic and GEC Marconi.

He has been an active member of the Technology Committee leadership team and currently serves as the Chair. 

 

     
     
   

Ashley Woodall, JetBlue

Ashley is JetBlue’s Manager Onboard Technology. She is responsible for connectivity and IFE content.  Prior to JetBlue, she was the Sr. Manager of Inflight Entertainment Planning and Development for United Airlines responsible for IFE content and hardware. Before United, she worked at Pace Communications and managed United Airlines IFE content.

 

 

     
     
 

Ingo Wuggetzer, Airbus

Ingo is the Vice President Cabin Innovation & Design at Airbus. He has 19 years experience in both the airline and aircraft manufacturer business. In his current role, he established a customer centric approach, including the key upfront services ‘trend and market research’. On this basis, he set up a cabin product and technology strategy as a guideline for future cabin innovations. Prior to Airbus, he was with Lufthansa for almost ten years and held several positions.

He is an active member of the Education Committee and has made presentations at various APEX events.  Ingo currently Co-Chairs the Marketing & Communications Committee.
