The Passenger Choice Awards winners are determined based solely on the votes of travelers – with the Nielsen Company, a global leader in consumer information and measurement, tracking the voting. The award program is entirely independent of any commercial influence, ensuring its neutrality and establishing it as a benchmark for excellence in the travel industry. The survey is growing in importance with air travelers as well, participation increased by more than 100 percent over 2010. The Passenger Choice Awards have rapidly distinguished themselves as the industry's foremost honor, as they represent the opinions of YOUR passengers.

ANNOUNCING THE 2012 PASSENGER CHOICE AWARDS

Do you want your airline to be recognized as one of the best by passengers from all over the world? The Passenger Choice Awards have quickly become the industry's most significant awards program for the airline passenger industry as winners are chosen based on customer feedback. Winning airlines are announced at the Passenger Choice Awards Gala held during the APEX EXPO each fall, and featured by the press in various media outlets around the globe. You can help get your airline in the running by ensuring your customers are taking the survey. Voting is currently open for the 2012 Passenger Choice Awards.

Here's How to Get Started:
As you know, the Passenger Choice Awards recognition program has been expanded to encompass the total passenger experience - from ticket purchase to baggage claim - and has moved to a year-round voting approach.

Member airlines are asked to invite customers to vote online at www.PassengerChoiceAwards.com through 30 June 2012 for the 2012 awards cycle. (The survey will immediately open 1 July 2012 for the 2013 awards cycle).
 
We are asking the airlines to distribute information about the Passenger Choice Awards to its passenger database, through social media, via print collateral and the website using the logos, collateral and advertisements provided for our members. Members may access the PCA collateral here

To participate in the Passenger Choice Awards, airline member companies should submit the BEST PASSENGER EXPERIENCE IN REGION entry form.
 


Your participation is crucial for maximizing passenger participation, and increasing your chances of having your airline selected as a finalist...or winner!   The winners will be announced at the Passenger Choice Awards gala at the APEX 2012 EXPO, 17-20 September 2012, at the Long Beach Convention Center, in Long Beach, California USA. We look forward to seeing you in Long Beach and, together, honoring those providing excellence in passenger experience!
