Music Rights & TV Programming: Best Practice & Compliance
The various rights and permissions relating to the provision, use and subsequent licensing of music is often a source of confusion for CSPs and Airlines. In the context of IFE hardware, encoding and renting, music rights licensing is a relatively small cost when dealt with proactively. We would like to help educate and share best practices with the APEX membership to ensure both vendors and airlines have the knowledge to ensure the correct legal permissions are in place to use music and are not exposed to infringement claims.
Iain Kemplay - Head of International Liscensing, PRS for MUSIC

Innovative GUI Design
As content on board is ever increasing, the challenge of how to assist your passengers in finding what they want and discovering new shows is even more important.  What are some best practices used both within our industry and outside to guide users to the treasures within.  What pitfalls and roadblocks should you avoid?
