Two types of members:
- Airline Members -- includes small and large passenger carriers worldwide.
- Vendor Members -- includes aircraft manufacturers, motion picture/short subject producers and distributors, record companies, broadcast networks, telecommunications/satellite companies, inflight magazine publishers, audio/video equipment manufacturers, programmers, advertising agencies, cabin amenity suppliers and others.
To apply for APEX Membership your company must be either:
- a passenger Airline or
- an Airline Inflight Entertainment/Communications Vendor. All membership applications are subject to review.

How much does it cost to become a member?
New Airline Members = US$450 New Vendor Members = US$700
Is it a company or individual membership ?
APEX is a trade association, so your membership would be for the company. Any employee of a member company can access the membership benefits. Check here to see if your company is a member.
How much does it cost to renew my membership?
Airline renewal = US$350 Vendor Renewal = US$500
Renewals received after 31 January = Additional US$100 late fee
If I join this year, when does my membership end?
31 January of the current year. APEX operates on a calendar year membership (February - January).
What if I join mid-year -- are the dues pro-rated?
No, the new member fee is the same throughout the year. However, those companies that join after the close of the Annual Conference & Exhibition will get the remainder of the year and all of the next year included in their new membership dues.
If I was a member in the past, can't I just renew?
If your membership has lapsed for more than 1 year, you must re-apply for membership and pay the new vendor or airline dues. If you were a member within the last year, you may just renew your membership with APEX. Contact Heather Wetzel at hwetzel@kellencompany.com for more information on your membership status.
How do you identify Airline members?
An Airline member must be an employee of a passenger Airline with a valid Airline Identification. Associated companies are not considered Airline members.
Must I be a APEX member to attend APEX events/meetings?
Yes. The APEX EXPO, APEX TV Market Conference and Educational Workshops are Member-Only events. Technology Committee meetings are open to non-members for a fee. For more information on the APEX events, please contact info@apex.org or +1.212.297.2177.
Do my membership dues include the fees to participate/attend APEX events?
No, there are additional registration/booth fees to participate in APEX events, which vary depending on the event.
What do my membership dues include?
Eligibility to participate in Educational/Networking events, APEX publications such as AVION Magazine , APEXnews and annual Membership Directory. APEX Members are also eligible for Industry Recognition/Awards, access to the Members Only section of the APEX website, as well as the opportunity to showcase products and services through sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
How is the Membership Directory updated?
Members who are in good standing (renewed and new members) will receive an email with a unique username and password to access the Membership Profile Update in the Member Center. Members update their contact information and the information is captured in the APEX database.
How do I make changes to my contact information?

What is the primary contact at my company ?
The primary contact is the designated individual at each APEX member company who can be contacted by APEX for membership information . This individual receives information on renewing membership and other membership related items.
