TAP Portugal marked its home country’s national day on June 10 by completing an inaugural flight from Lisbon to Toronto. Laird Kay was airside at Toronto Pearson International Airport to capture the event as TAP Portugal’s official photographer. Kay has given APEX Media an exclusive look at his photos, taken when TAP’s Airbus A330-operated Flight 259 touched down at YYZ (see below).
Passengers flying on the new route have access to power and USB outlets, fresh meals and on-demand in-flight entertainment. The seating configuration follows a standard 2-4-2 layout, with 30 inches of legroom. Toronto is the airline’s latest destination, returning to Canada’s largest city following a 21-year hiatus, offering a five-times-per-week nonstop service.
