APEX Insight: The introduction of innovation labs and claims of “start-up culture” adoption have become commonplace in aviation, but approaches can vary widely from one organization to another. No two airlines or airports are alike, so what works for one is not likely to fit for another.

In a session at this week’s FTE Europe event in Dublin, innovation hub leaders from leading airlines and airport groups discussed  topics like design thinking, working with startups and the art of integrating special innovation units with traditional teams – plus the need to balance day-to-day problem solving with long-range digital investment.

After the session, APEX Media caught up with three of the panelists as part of its “APEX @” video series. Each expert shared their unique approach to ensuring that their organization stays agile, relevant and ahead of competition through technological innovation.
