APEX Insight: Emirates has invested in new in-flight amenities for its first- and business-class passengers, including new high-end noise-canceling headphones.
Emirates is offering premium branded products through collaborations with BYREDO skincare and Bowers & Wilkins. Emirates’ longstanding partnership with Bulgari also continues with refreshed amenity kits featuring a green tea fragrance and bag designs in eight colors.
The airline is currently rolling out Bowers & Wilkins new Active Noise Cancelling E1 headphones for its first-class passengers on board its Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s. The headphones, which are made of high-grade lightweight materials including aluminum and sheepskin leather, connect to Emirates’ ice in-flight entertainment system and were designed to incorporate a unique hybrid noise cancellation technology optimized for the Emirates first-class cabins.
Passengers who want to test the headphones’ sound quality will be able listen to the Bowers & Wilkins Superior Sound playlist, which features a curated list of songs selected for their acoustic excellence.
The Dubai-based carrier is also giving BYREDO’s travel wellness range of skincare and a Moleskin-style notebook and pen – originally launched last year on its Boeing 777s – to first-class passengers across its fleet. The kit was created exclusively for Emirates and features products including a facial toner, eye cream, chamomile roll-on sleep oil and chamomile pillow mist spray.
Emirates’ longstanding amenity kit partnership with Bulgari has also given way to its latest first- and business-class kits, which contain Bulgari’s Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert fragrance and various luxury skincare products. The first-class bags are made of faux leather and come in eight designs with different colors for men and women, with eight additional designs for passengers in business class.
