Buzz Products is helping EVA Air launch an exclusive in-flight sleepwear partnership with renowned fashion designer Jason Wu.
EVA Air has unveiled a new collection of unisex sleepwear for its Royal Laurel- and Premium Laurel-class passengers.
The airline created the clothing items in partnership with New York-based Taiwanese designer Jason Wu, after being paired up by global design company Buzz Products. The end result is a set of garments that are fit for snoozing at 35,000, or on the ground, and include branded sleeper tops, bottoms and slippers.
David Chen, senior vice-president at EVA Air, said: “As Taiwan’s premiere airline, we are proud to partner with world-renowned luxury designer Jason Wu. Together, we will deliver the ultimate in style and comfort for EVA business-class passengers.”
Buzz Products said Wu was inspired by a notion of understated refinement combined with detailed design elements, including a triple snap rollover collar and the use of blue and gray ultra-soft heather jersey fabrics.
“As a jet-setter myself, one of the most important criteria for my travel is comfort,” Wu said. “This collaboration was a great opportunity for me to marry form and function to address something that would improve the experience of the EVA passenger.”
The sleepwear items will be available on EVA Air flights later this month.
