United Airlines announced yesterday that it will soon offer Sunday Riley products in its lounges and in flight, as part of its new amenity kits, giving fans of the skincare brand that Friday feeling.

“Sunday Riley is very popular – she’s a cult favorite with both younger and older generations,” said Stefanie Page, marketing executive at Buzz Products, which facilitated the collaboration between United and the beauty brand. “This announcement has gone viral. The collection, created exclusively for the airline, will be featured in three cabin-specific amenity kits, which will be rolled out later this month. United Polaris business-class passengers will receive a kit including lip balm with pomegranate seed oil and shea butter; face cream with a blend of botanicals; hand cream containing shea butter, cocoa butter and rose hip seed oil; and a facial cleansing cloth infused with peppermint extract. The United Premium Plus kit will include the lip balm and hand cream, while the United premium transcontinental kit will include the lip balm. Premium cabin lavatories will also offer a face mist and hand cream formulated by Sunday Riley.

United Polaris lounges, arrivals lounges and United Clubs with shower facilities will feature hand wash with cucumber and green tea extracts; shampoo with cucumber extract and rosehip seed oil; conditioner with green tea extract and pomegranate seed oil; body wash with cucumber and green tea extracts; and moisturizer with shea and cocoa seed butters.

All of the products were designed with the traveler in mind and offer hydrating benefits. “Sunday and her team really took the time to understand how travel and the aircraft environment affects our customers and formulated an in-flight remedy that complements their journey with United from beginning to end,” said Mark Krolick, United’s vice-president of Marketing.
