In this episode of APEX Insider, United Airlines tells the story behind the inclusive design of its new, award-winning in-flight entertainment solution.

United Airlines’ mission statement is to “put the customer at the heart of everything it does.” And when it comes to following through on the statement, CEO Oscar Munoz advocates for “proof, not promise,” says Corinne Streichert, senior manager, IFE and Connectivity, Marketing at United.

According to Streichert, the airline’s its new in-flight entertainment (IFE) system – developed together with Panasonic Avionics – is the perfect example of its focus on the customer and all their potential needs.

Developed over three years following intensive research, the carrier’s new IFE solution has been designed for everyone, including passengers with hearing, mobility and visual impairments. During this episode of APEX Insider, Streichert explains how it has one of the most diverse suites of accessibility features in existence today.
