Flame Distribution has released its 2020 highlights catalog featuring a host of new content, including more titles from its recently announced partner, UK production company Entertain Me Productions.

Flame Distribution’s new 2020 highlights catalog features two new show formats dissecting the nature of human relationships. The Love Experiment, created by Media Stockade for RTBF, sees a traveling laboratory invite single strangers, estranged couples and total opposites to bear their souls to one another and see if they can fall in love.

Also exploring human connections is The Commute, developed by Waddell Media for the BBC and TG4, which uses an intimate fixed-rig format to capture sibling squabbles, political debates and road-rage tantrums as cars up and down the country make their way to school, work and morning appointments.

Elsewhere, highlights include content focusing on nature and wildlife, which Flame Distribution believes has become increasingly popular in recent years. Consisting of three one-hour episodes shot in 8K, Ocean Current Odyssey captures the beauty of Australia’s east coast and explores the profound importance that all ocean currents have on people all over the world.

In addition, Work on the Wild Side follows vets, veterinary nurses and long-term volunteers who have moved to South Africa to rescue, rehabilitate and help save the lives of the animals that live there.

Flame Distribution is also expanding its catalog of human-interest pieces. After announcing it had secured the rights to distribute Greta Thunberg: The Voice of the Future and Killing John Lennon, the company is now adding to its catalog Britney Spears Breaking Point, a documentary from Entertain Me Productions that explores the fragile connection between superstardom and mental health.
