United Airlines canceled its onboard duty-free sales in March citing declining sales revenue, following similar decisions by American Airlines and Delta Air Lines in 2015 and 2014, respectively. According to a study by m1nd-set Generation, airline duty-free sales will fall by 1.5 percent each year until 2025. However, what airlines have lost, airports have gained – manyfold.
