Qatar Airways has purchased a 9.61% stake in Cathay Pacific for $661 million, making it the airline’s third-largest shareholder, after Swire Pacific (45%) and Air China (30%). This is Qatar’s first major stake in an Asian airline, as the Doha-based, state-owned carrier looks to broaden its reach, after the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia cut transport ties with Qatar in June.

While car rental options are often included when booking through an online travel agency, some airlines, like Jet Airways, have started including Uber reservations in the booking process.
