SkyLights Is Adding Award-Winning VR Films to Its In-Flight Headsets

SkyLights signed a deal with mk2, an international film exhibitor and distributor, to bring award-winning virtual reality content to passengers using its VR headsets on long-haul flights. “Until 2017, the vast majority of VR content was of relatively poor quality and was not suitable to view in an environment where space and movement are restricted,” said Laurence Fornari, SkyLights’ head of Sales and Marketing. “Since then, appropriate VR content has taken off. As such, we are delighted to team up with mk2 for their premium VR catalog and their expertise in the field.”

BA Gets Serious About Coffee

British Airways has partnered with London-based Union Hand-Roasted Coffee as part of its multibillion-dollar investment program. Starting next month, BA will be serving the specialty cups of joe to passengers in its first- and business-class cabins, in addition to all of its UK lounges. “We know it’s often the small things that really make a difference to [passengers],” said Sarah Klatt-Walsh, BA’s head of Product. “A great cup of coffee to get them up and hitting the ground running after a long-haul flight is exactly one of those details that really matters.”
