Korean Air Will Remove First-Class Cabins on 27 Routes

Korean Air plans to remove its first-class service on 27 routes, operated using Boeing 787-9s, 777-300ERs and Airbus A330s, as of June 1. The Asian carrier said the decision was made because of low demand for first-class seats on certain routes and will help it achieve “better operational efficiency.” Korean Air already operates dual-class (business and economy) cabins on 47 routes, which will be joined by short- and long-haul services to destinations in Asia, Europe, Australasia and North America.
