Southwest Airlines has made changes to its policy so that two adults traveling with children aged six or younger can board when family boarding is called. The revision comes after a same-sex couple with children claimed they faced discrimination from an agent when they tried to board a Southwest flight in 2017. The airline said no discrimination took place, but met with the parents in July 2018. “The conversation prompted a closer look at the clarity of our policy through the viewpoints of both our customers and employees,” Southwest said in a statement.
