Global Aircraft Production Down by 11% in 2019

Global aircraft production has fallen by 11% since the beginning of 2019.. ADS, the UK aerospace industry association, said 88 aircraft were delivered in July, 24% fewer than the same month in 2018. The decrease is largely attributed to the slump in production of narrow-body jets such as Boeing’s 737 MAX aircraft, which were grounded in March. ADS cut its forecast for 2019 global aircraft deliveries from 1,789 to 1,489.
