Could WOW Air Begin Flying Again Next Month?

WOW air is set to relaunch following the purchase of its assets for $85 million by Michele Ballarin, one of the owners of USAerospace Associates. The new owner plans to relaunch the WOW brand with flights between Keflavik International Airport and Washington-Dulles International Airport as early as next month. Under the new plan, the revived low-cost carrier will begin operations with two aircraft, with the aim of adding two more by the summer of 2020. Ballarin claims the new WOW air will offer airport lounge access, in-flight food prepared by a Michelin chef and biometric boarding.
