SITA’s Health Protect Solution to Process Passenger Data Securely

SITA has launched Health Protect, a suite of solutions allowing industry stakeholders to share information on passengers’ health tests or vaccinations securely. Health Protect integrates various digital health passport schemes into SITA’s existing passenger processing systems to minimize the operational impact of new government travel requirements. “We’re excited […] to bridge the gap between airlines resuming normal operations and governments' strong focus on keeping control of COVID-19,” said CEO, Airports and Borders at SITA, David Lavorel. Health Protect has been tested on travelers to the UAE, and another pilot will begin at Milan Malpensa Airport soon.
