Boeing faces additional challenges with its 737 aircraft deliveries due to the need for rework on 50 undelivered planes. This comes after the discovery of mis-drilled holes by supplier Spirit AeroSystems, marking another setback for the 737 family. Gogo Can Continue 5G Sales As Federal Circuit Rejects SmartSky Motion

SmartSky Networks' request for a preliminary injunction to halt Gogo Business Aviation's use and sale of its Gogo 5G inflight connectivity system was denied by the US Court of Appeals, affirming an earlier decision by the Delaware District Court. The legal battle revolves around SmartSky's allegations that Gogo infringed on its patents by using unlicensed spectrum for its 5G product, a strategy SmartSky claims Gogo adopted after initially exploring licensed spectrum. Despite the setback, SmartSky looks forward to a trial set for April 2025, confident in its patent infringement claims against Gogo.
