FAA Reports Finds Boeing Safety Culture Lacking

An FAA report has criticized Boeing for its "inadequate and confusing" implementation of a safety culture, highlighting a significant disconnect between the company's senior management and its workforce regarding safety practices. The findings stem from a review by an expert panel examining Boeing's adherence to the Organisation Designation Authorisation (ODA) program. The panel noted a universal lack of safety awareness and consistent procedural and training changes, raising concerns about the company's communication and non-retaliation policies. Boeing responded by acknowledging the panel's efforts and asserting its commitment to safety.
