Air Greenland’s New A330neo Rolls Out Of The Paint Shop

Air Greenland's brand new Airbus A330-800neo aircraft rolled out of the Airbus paint shop in Toulouse, France, nearing its entry into service. The new aircraft features a bold red livery with medium-size white dots on the plane’s vertical stabilizer. The airline’s new A330-800neo aircraft, registered as OY-GKN, will replace Air Greenland’s 24-year-old A330-200 jet. The new aircraft will transport both passenger and cargo and is intended to enter Air Greenland’s fleet in the fourth quarter of 2022. Many believe Air Greenland's order saved the unpopular Airbus A330-800neo variant as its orders paled in comparison to the larger -900neo variant.

> Quote of the Day

"BNE is more than an airport. We are a sustainability leader. We want to create a world-leading airport city that future generations can be proud of, because of how we acted today, to protect the community of tomorrow. This is not a new concept for us. We’ve been on this journey for 12 years, but now we are hitting fast-forward to reduce our impact on the planet."
