SWISS Finalizes A350 Layout With 3 First Class Seats

SWISS has confirmed the cabin configuration for its Airbus A350-900s, nine months after announcing the order of five A350s to replace its A340s. The new aircraft will have a 4-class layout, accommodating 242 passengers in total: 156 in economy, 38 in premium economy, 45 in business, and 3 in first-class section. This premium-heavy layout reinforces SWISS’s position as a leading premium airline and responds to growing demand in leisure travel. The new configuration contrasts with parent company Lufthansa’s A350-900s, that are less premium-heavy.
