The first Emirates flights operating with sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) provided by Shell Aviation have taken off from Dubai International Airport (DXB). Emirates and Shell had announced their partnership last year, where Shell agreed to deliver 315,000 gallons of blended SAF to DXB. Customers will also be able to opt for green SAF-powered flights through Shell’s blockchain solution, Avelia.
