Aviation Panel Says SAF Will Do The Heavy Lifting On The Road To Net Zero

A World Travel Market ‘Future of Travel’ panel has concluded that Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), rather than new technology, will pave the way for net-zero aviation. Currently, SAF costs anywhere between 2-5 times more compared to normal kerosene-based fuel. The industry, however, remains optimistic that costs would come down as production and use scale up quickly.
