Share
The Kinetic Rain moving sculpture at Singapore’s Changi Airport is the largest kinetic art sculpture in the world. Installed in 2012 in Terminal 1 (T1), the sculpture is comprised of 1 ,216 bronze droplets.
Carrying an aviation theme, the key element in every shape shows the movement of flight through slow, fluid movements. Some of the more recognizable shapes include an airplane, hot air balloon and a kite. One can also make out a dragon and a flock of birds amongst the 16 different programmed segments.
