WASHINGTON, D.C. (18 December 2025) – The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) announced its 2025-26 Board of Directors at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 18 December. The AGM brought together association leadership and members to review key operational, financial, and strategic developments to continue pushing the organization forward. As part of the meeting, the next slate of the APEX Board representing dedicated volunteers from member companies across the industry was announced.
“We’re proud to welcome the incoming Board of Directors and grateful for their willingness to serve,” said Lauren Costello, APEX Executive Director. “Their collective knowledge and leadership will play an important role in positioning APEX to address evolving industry demands and continue elevating the passenger experience while providing value to the diverse and engaged member community.”
Board members in newly elected roles include Vice President: Samson Arega Bekele, Ethiopian Airlines; Secretary: Estibaliz Asiain, Anuvu; and President Emeritus: Mustafa Mucahitoglu, Turkish Airlines. Remaining in Officer roles on the board are President: Dominic Green, United Airlines and Treasurer: Zina Neophytou, BBC Studios.
New Directors to the APEX Board include Ben Asmar, Safran; Don Buchman, Viasat; Rossen Dimitrov, Saudia; and Dimitrios Tsirangelos, Spafax. Esdra Lamy, Warner Bros. Discovery and Ingo Wuggetzer, Airbus were re-elected to the Board. David Kondo, Qantas and Jonas von Kruechten, Siden continue their two-year term.
