APEX to Honor Aeromexico CEO Dr. Andres Conesa with 2026 CEO Lifetime Achievement Award at APEX FTE EXPO in Singapore

WASHINGTON, D.C. (26 May 2026) – The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) today announced that Dr. Andres Conesa, Aeromexico Chief Executive Officer, will receive the 2026 APEX CEO Lifetime Achievement Award the evening of Thursday, 19 November at the APEX Awards Ceremony for the capstone finale of APEX FTE EXPO in Singapore.  The prestigious industry award marks the first ever for a Latin American airline CEO in the organization’s five-decade history. 
 
Reserved for the most influential visionaries in aviation, the APEX CEO Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes leaders whose careers have fundamentally transformed the passenger experience and advanced the global industry far beyond their airline. Dr. Conesa will join an extraordinary group of global airline leaders awarded this highest honor. Over more than two decades as Aeromexico‎ CEO, Dr. Conesa guided one of aviation’s most remarkable transformations, rebuilding Aeromexico into a reliable and globally respected customer-centric air carrier. Under his guidance, the airline earned recognition as the world’s most on-time global airline for record-breaking consecutive years as verified by Cirium, setting a new benchmark for operational performance while strengthening passenger trust and loyalty. Aeromexico reached its highest customer Net Promoter Score (NPS) level among APEX Global Airlines in North America last year, reinforcing the airline’s customer-centric leadership alongside Delta as its strategic investment partner. Aligning with this major NPS milestone, Aeromexico won the 2026 APEX Best™ Global Airline in North America Award, marking the first time that a Latin American airline has ever won the prestigious award. The APEX Best™ Global Airline in North America Award reflects APEX’s independently verified passenger feedback program, which captured more than one million customer-rated flights last year via TripIt® by SAP Concur, the world’s leading travel organizing app.
