NEW YORK, NY (31 January 2024) – Stephanie Taylor is to provide members of the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) team with unparalleled insight into the association’s key focuses and events across a range of exciting new formats in her new role as APEX Insights Editor.

“Stephanie Taylor elevates the strategic landscape of the Airline Passenger Experience Association as our new APEX Insights Editor. Her unique blend of industry acumen and journalistic finesse positions her at the forefront of member engagement and industry insight,” APEX CEO Dr. Joe Leader stated. “In this pivotal role, Stephanie will harness her extensive network and deep understanding of the airline experience to craft narratives that resonate across our global platform. Her work stands as a cornerstone in our mission to drive innovation and excellence in the passenger experience sector. Stephanie’s vision will not only enrich our association, but also shape the future of airline travel worldwide.”

As well as creating news content for the APEX website, Taylor will be involved in creating a wide range of media exclusively for APEX members, from case studies to webinars and more. Using her exceptional industry knowledge alongside the intel gained from her ongoing coverage, she will also be instrumental in shaping the conference sessions at future APEX events. This will drive APEX’s core goals of fostering an inclusive member community and knowledge-sharing between airlines and suppliers.

Taylor is already working to showcase the many exciting trends set to be discussed by an impressive line-up of industry thought leaders at APEX TECH, which will take place from 28-29 February at the Los Angeles Airport Sheraton Gateway

A well-connected aviation journalist that has contributed to numerous publications over the last decade, including Aircraft Cabin Management, Aircraft Interiors International, Inflight, LARA, Low-Cost & Regional Airline Business and more.

Having joined APEX Media for the first time in 2018 as Special Projects Manager, Taylor already has strong relationships with members across APEX’s key markets including IFEC, content and in-flight services. As the driving force behind APEX Media’s 40th anniversary editorial campaign, which saw 40 APEX members recount an exciting first for their company or their industry; as well as the Association’s “What We’re Made Of” campaign, which explored how APEX members were rising to the challenges presented by COVID-19; she is truly knowledgeable about the history of the association and its unique opportunities and challenges.

Taylor saw APEX through the dissolution of the broader APEX Media team during the pandemic and kept the APEX Daily Experience Newsletter running throughout, before celebrating the birth of her first daughter, Phoebe, in March 2022. Between then and now, she has worked for APEX on a freelance basis, notably providing video and editorial coverage at the 2023 APEX EXPO in Long Beach, California.

“I’m delighted to be working with the tight-knit APEX team once again and to be assisting in their goal of pushing the passenger experience industry forward for the benefit of all airlines and all travelers,” commented Taylor. “I know that APEX members always have fantastic products and services to shout about and interesting perspectives to share, so I’m very much looking forward to giving them a platform for their news and views.”

Taylor joins a team of experienced industry professionals at APEX who oversee key committees, communications, marketing, finance, strategy, trade shows, and all internal APEX operations.
