TOP ASIAN AND SOUTH PACIFIC AIRLINES HONORED AS APEX BEST IN AIRLINE AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED IN SINGAPORE

Airlines from Across Regions Recognized for Extraordinary Passenger Experience

SINGAPORE (9 November 2023) –  APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association honored the 2024 Best In Airline Award winners from Central/Southern Asia, Eastern Asia, Greater China, and the South Pacific on 9 November in Singapore during the FTE APEX Asia Expo 2023 – Asia’s biggest passenger experience and business performance expo for the aviation industry. The awards recognize airlines in these regions for their excellence in providing best passenger experiences overall as well as in the following five categories: Cabin Service, Entertainment, Food and Beverage (presented in conjunction with IFSA, the International Flight Services Association), Seat Comfort, and Wi-Fi.

“In recognizing the distinguished airlines of Asia and the South Pacific, we commend their relentless pursuit of service excellence and their innovative strides in enriching the passenger experience,” remarked Dr. Joe Leader, Group CEO of APEX, IFSA, and FTE. “These proud air carriers stand at the forefront of the industry, adeptly catering to the rising tide of air travel demand by placing the customer’s needs at the heart of their service ethos.”

The honors are based on anonymous, third-party passenger feedback and input through APEX’s partnership with TripIt® from Concur®, the world’s highest-rated travel-organizing app. More than one million verified flights were rated by passengers using a five-star scale with data gathered from over 600 global airlines. Passengers were given the opportunity to rate their overall flight experience from one to five stars ratings in the five aforementioned categories. The single-screen rating allows passengers to easily rate their flight experience in less than 15 seconds.
