APEX Announces Colocation With FTE for EXPO 2016 in Singapore

In September 2015, APEX’s newly-appointed chief executive officer, Joe Leader, opened the association’s annual general conference with the news that APEX’s regional conference in Singapore would be pushed to coincide with Future Travel Experience’s 2015 Asia Expo.
Today, before officially passing the baton to Future Travel Experience for its Asia conference, Leader and Daniel Coleman, founder of FTE teamed up to announce that the two air travel organizations will be colocating in Singapore once again for next year’s EXPO.
“I’m proud to announce today that for October 2016, FTE and APEX’s EXPO event will be colocating in Singapore,” Leader announced. “In addition to the 1,200 people that are here today for FTE Asia and for what we will have at EXPO next year, we’ll have a total of over 3,000 attendees between the two shows.”
On the reasoning behind the move to colocate once again, Coleman explains, “We’re trying to look at what’s best for the industry and create an offering where we can show more aspects of the passenger experience under one roof so airlines can come and move between the two.”
