Entertainment While You Wait: Immfly Takes IFE to the Lounge

Following the success of its wireless in-flight entertainment portal, Immfly is now introducing Immfly Lounge, a solution for travelers to start a movie on the ground and continue watching it using the same platform on board. A server located in the airport lounge or gate enables streaming of all types of content, with ancillary-revenue-driving options to improve what Immfly calls “day of flight” net promoter scores. While travelers wait to board their flight, they can upgrade their seat, order food or drinks for on board and shop for duty-free goods to be delivered to their home.
“Every action that could only be done on board can now start pre-flight,” said Maria Girao, Marketing and Communications, Immfly. “On the other hand, the airline has more chance to engage passengers and earn revenue.”
