Immfly has partnered with International Airlines Group (IAG) to expand the future development of .air, the in-flight digital platform deployed across IAGs global network.

Expanding on Immflys five-year-plus collaboration with IAG member airline Iberia Express, Immfly has announced plans to enhance IAG’s .air in-flight digital platform across the group’s airlines, which include British Airways, Aer Lingus Iberia, Level and Vueling. The .air platform will be updated with new features, services, products and retail opportunities designed to unlock a host of new revenue streams.

Immflys award-winning onboard software services will support the development and future maintenance of IAGs .air platform – which has already deployed across a large portion of the group’s fleet – remotely and efficiently across all aircraft types.

And while delivering a consistent digital customer experience is important, both partners agree that offering IAGs carriers the built-in flexibility to tailor the new offering to each airline brand and customer proposition is key.

The partnership with IAG and Immfly brings together a world-leading airline group composed of top-tier aviation brands in Ireland, the UK and Spain, with the industrys foremost partner for pioneering cabin digitalization, said Jimmy Martinez von Korff, Immflys executive chairman. Together, IAG and Immfly will provide digital engagement tools and resources that will enhance the journey of millions of customers.

Andrea Burchett, group head, IAG Connect at International Airlines Group, added that IAG is counting on Immflys expertise in providing onboard connected digital services that not only enhance the passenger experience but also optimize operations and maximize revenues to take IAGs .air platform to the next level.€‹

The partnership with Immfly will enable IAG to deliver new services and expand the product range offered to our customers across entertainment, retail and loyalty, said Burchett. We are excited to work together to develop services that innovate and disrupt the market by leveraging our combined knowledge and expertise for the benefit of our customers and airlines.

Since partnering with Iberia Express, Immfly has worked with the carrier to introduce programmatic advertising and to host special screenings of Oscar-winning films in-flight.
