Immfly has opened a new office in Turkey to better serve its Turkish airline customers.

Immfly has opened a new office in Istanbul’s ÅžiÅŸli district to support its Turkish airline customers, Pegasus Airlines and SunExpress. Earlier this year, Pegasus announced plans to install the company’s in-flight digital services across its entire fleet of 100 aircraft using hardware from Kontron, while SunExpress is to rollout Immfly’s solution across its fleet of Boeing 737-800NG and MAX aircraft.

The move allows Immfly to make sure its clients are actively involved in all ongoing digital projects. Yasemin Gurcan, who is part of the IT Team at the new Turkey office, said, “Knowing that we are now closer and will be able to see to the needs of our customers gives us security and ensures efficiency in delivering the results we promised.”

Pablo Linz, co-founder of Immfly, commented, “Immfly Turkey is providing support to our central HQ, where we are developing avant-garde technology for all our customers, but we will be launching a completely new service with one of our customers in Turkey that will be added to our Digital Services portfolio. We have seen a great spirit and capacity for innovation in the country and we envision great success in the Turkish market.”

The company currently has a team of 12 people working in Turkey, including four developers and one operations engineer. Within the next year, Immfly wants to bring in more developers, increasing the team to 15. The new premises complements Immfly’s Barcelona headquarters as well as its small business development centers in Madrid, London, Moscow and Johannesburg.

According to Linz, Immfly is preparing to open two more offices in the next year, to cover other regions like the US and Southeast Asia. The plans are still in development, but Immfly said its top management will make a final decision on the expansion plans very soon.
