APEX Experience Takes Home min 2015 Editorial and Design Award

    APEX Experience, the magazine of the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), which covers all news related to air travel and the passenger experience, took home an award for its Travelogue series and received honorable mentions for B2B Cover and Technical Article.

    The 2015 min Editorial & Design Awards, which recognizes “excellence in content and design among consumer, business-to-business and specialized information media brands” in print and digital publications, took place November 19 at the The Yale Club in New York City with an awards breakfast attended by some of the biggest names in the publishing industry including: Time Out New York, Architectural Digest, Entertainment Weekly, Harper’s Bazaar, Travel + Leisure, Reader’s Digest and more.

    The Travelogue series features personal accounts of the passenger experience written by various contributors. Previous authors include Jakub Stachurski, Jordan Yerman and others, as well as our very own, deputy editor, Katie Sehl and publisher, Al St. Germain.

    “Ahead By a Century” written by Katie Sehl, was shortlisted for Technical Article.

    It was only a year ago that APEX Experience picked up an honorable mention for Most Improved Publication at the 2014 min Editorial and Design Awards, after barely completing a full editorial cycle under a brand new management and editorial team.

    Running up against APEX Experience in each category were:

    For B2B Cover: Ingram Micro Advisor, Pragmatic Marketer and Successful Farming Magazine.

    For Series: The Archipelago Journal by fellow APEX member Garuda Indonesia’s Colours magazine; as well as Binge by Entertainment Weekly; The State of Sex by Marie Claire and Pests by This Old House.

    For Technical Article: “Ahead By a Century,” written by APEX Experience deputy editor Katie Sehl was nominated alongside articles from Farm Journal, The Institute, Live Happy and Top Producer magazines.
