APEX Insight: During Aviation Festival 2018, director of APEX Media Maryann Simson, interviewed Jouni Oksanen, airBaltic’s senior vice president of eCommerce, Sales and Marketing, about using existing passenger data to improve the customer experience.

During the interview, Oksanen explained how the airBaltic recently used the last five years’ worth of passenger name records data to either prove or disprove its hypothesis that the carrier’s customers could be divided into 10 different customer segments. He also spoke about how the airline is shaking up the traditional understanding of airline loyalty programs.
