The Butterfly Seating Concept from Butterfly Flexible Seating Solutions

Butterfly Flexible Seating Solutions, which is affiliated with award-winning Hong-Hong-based Paperclip Design, showcased its Butterfly seating concept at the FTE EMEA event in Istanbul, Turkey, giving APEX Media the chance to see the mock-up in action.

The Butterfly seating concept was created for single-aisle aircraft, such as the Airbus A220, A320 and Boeing 737.

At FTE EMEA in Istanbul, Turkey, co-founder and commercial director of Butterfly Flexible Seating Solutions, Lars Rinne, talked to APEX Media about how it can easily switch between two regional business-class seats and one suite with a fully lie-flat bed using a non-motorized mechanism.

During the video, Rinne also answers questions regarding the seat’s progress with certification and finding a launch customer.
