Korean Air has revealed details about its newly renovated Prestige East (Left) Lounge at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 ahead of its official opening on January 14, 2026. The lounge now features experiential zones catering to a range of passenger demographics with the aim of creating memorable travel experiences, especially for younger age groups.
The interactive facilities include a “Ramyeon Library,” a self-service station that allows users to customize their own instant noodles. Passengers simply select their preferred noodles and toppings, then cook them at automated machines.

Lounge users can also take part in participation-based classes such as chocolate bark making at “Cooking Studio L’atelier,” which is operated in collaboration with chefs from the Grand Hyatt Incheon. Classes are available via on-site reservation.
Finally, the “Arcade Room” has been designed to appeal to young travelers and families, with photo booths, claw machines, air hockey and car racing games.

The decor of the lounge, which spans 1,553-square-meters, is inspired by the sophisticated comfort of luxury hotel lounges. Amenities include a buffet and live cooking stations, dining areas, a bar, shower facilities and dedicated work-friendly areas. There are 192 seats across the space, which is located on the fourth floor across from Gate 253.
Korean Air has also ensured the digital services associated with the lounge enhance the passenger experience. For example, the airline uses data from automated entry gates to show real-time lounge crowd levels on its digital platforms, thereby allowing passengers to choose less congested facilities. It also offers mobile queuing, a system that alerts passengers when seats become available during peak hours.
Furthermore, while First and Prestige Class passengers, as well as SkyTeam Elite Plus members, do not need to make reservations, travelers using vouchers or mileage can use the Korean Air website or mobile app to secure access in advance.

The refurbishment of the Prestige East (Left) Lounge is part of a broader infrastructure expansion at Incheon Terminal 2 in preparation for Korean Air’s integration with Asiana Airlines.
The carrier completed the first phase of its lounge renewal project in August 2025, with the opening of a fully redesigned Miler Club and Prestige East (Right) Lounge, as well as two Prestige Garden lounges at the far ends of the terminal. It plans to complete renovations of the First Class Lounge and the Prestige West Lounge by the first half of this year.
Upon completion, Korean Air’s total lounge area at Terminal 2 will more than double from 5,105-square-meters to 12,270 square meters. Total seating capacity will also rise from 898 to 1,566 seats.

The carrier has significantly enhanced its product offering in recent months. It recently announced plans to install Starlink across its fleet alongside other Hanjin Group carriers after debuting a new Premium Economy cabin on its retrofitted Boeing 777s.
The carrier won ‘Best Cabin Service‘ in the ‘Global’ category at the APEX Best Awards 2026, and at the same time was announced as a ‘Five Star Global Airline‘ for the ninth consecutive year.
