JetBlue opened its second BlueHouse airport lounge at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) on August 27, 2026, expanding the lounge concept to its second-largest focus city. Located in Terminal C, the new 12,000-square-foot space brings together Boston and New England-inspired design, local food and beverage offerings, and areas for travelers to work or relax before departure. Alongside the opening, JetBlue is expanding complimentary BlueHouse access to all eligible Mint and Mint Flex customers traveling domestically or internationally from Boston and New York.

A Lounge Design Inspired by Boston and New England

BlueHouse Boston builds on the residential approach JetBlue introduced with its first BlueHouse at New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), which opened in December 2025. While the New York lounge was designed to feel like a stylish city apartment, the Boston location takes inspiration from a warm New England home.

The lounge features local materials, copper accents, residential-style furniture and curated artwork, with additional design elements inspired by Beacon Hill, Downtown Boston and communities across New England.

“BlueHouse Boston is designed to feel like a warm, stylish New England home, welcoming, comfortable and full of details that spark inspiration and nostalgia,” said JetBlue Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Stephanie Evans Greene. “From the local partnerships and artwork to the playful surprises throughout the space, we wanted customers to feel connected to Boston just like JetBlue.”

Different areas of the lounge bring recognizable parts of Boston culture into the experience. The Neighborhood Bar serves as the social center of BlueHouse ,with a Nantucket Blue ceiling, copper finishes and lighting inspired by Boston’s iconic beacon.

The Dugout celebrates Boston’s sports culture with games and memorabilia from local partners. For passengers looking to work, the Library Workspace takes inspiration from the Boston Public Library and includes tables, lamps and private rooms for calls and virtual meetings.

A mural from Boston-born author and illustrator Richard Scarry adds another local connection. The artwork features well-known characters and scenes from his Busy World, including an adapted illustration featuring a JetBlue aircraft.

Throughout the lounge, passengers will have access to high-speed Wi-Fi, power outlets and dedicated quiet areas, allowing them to work, relax or disconnect before their flight.

“BlueHouse Boston brings our customers a new way to experience the thoughtful hospitality and elevated amenities they’ve come to expect from JetBlue, both on the ground and in the air,” said JetBlue President Marty St. George. “In Boston, we’ve created a space that feels distinctly JetBlue and celebrates the city and greater New England.”

Local Favorites Shape the Food and Beverage Experience

Like the original BlueHouse at JFK, local food and beverage partnerships play a major role in the Boston lounge.

JetBlue will offer hot, plated dishes inspired by New England, including North Shore roast beef sliders and crab and shrimp rolls. The airline has also partnered with several local businesses for its beverage and snack offerings.

Cocktails have been developed by Jackson Cannon, beverage director at Boston cocktail bar Equal Measure. George Howell Coffee will provide specialty brewed coffee and espresso, while The Publick House will curate a selection of New England craft beers.

The lounge also includes the Candy Closet, a hidden area stocked by Madeleine’s Candy Shop. Passengers can choose their own sweets and fill custom-designed carry-on candy bags to take with them.

The local partnerships help give BlueHouse Boston its own identity while keeping the same residential and locally focused approach introduced at JFK.

More Mint Customers Gain BlueHouse Access

The Boston opening also comes with an expansion of BlueHouse access. Beginning August 27, complimentary access will extend to all passengers departing on confirmed Mint or Mint Flex fares, including eligible domestic and international travelers at both the Boston and JFK locations.

Previously, complimentary access for Mint passengers was more limited, including customers traveling on transatlantic routes. The expanded policy brings BlueHouse to a wider group of passengers traveling in JetBlue’s premium cabin.

Mosaic 4 members and JetBlue Premier Cardmembers will also continue to receive complimentary BlueHouse access. Eligible travelers can enter the lounge up to three hours before their scheduled departure with a confirmed same-day JetBlue boarding pass, subject to available space.

Other Mosaic members and eligible JetBlue cardmembers will continue to have the option to access BlueHouse through one-time passes when space is available.

In the coming weeks, JetBlue will also introduce Mint Base, a lower-fare option designed to give more travelers access to the Mint onboard experience. Mint Base will not include BlueHouse access or complimentary advance seat selection, and fees will apply for changes and cancellations. Mint and Mint Flex fares will continue to include complimentary BlueHouse access and advance seat selection with no change or cancellation fees.

BlueHouse Becomes a Larger Part of JetBlue’s Premium Strategy

BlueHouse supports JetBlue’s broader JetForward strategy as the airline continues investing in more premium experiences both on the ground and in the air.

Boston is particularly important to that strategy. This summer, JetBlue is operating more than 133 daily departures from the city to 68 destinations, including 25 international destinations and nine daily nonstop flights to Europe. The airline continues to expand its Boston network with new service to destinations including Barcelona and Milan.

With its second BlueHouse opening and expanded Mint access, JetBlue is making the lounge experience a larger part of its premium strategy in two of its most important markets.
