2023 APEX Regional Passenger Choice Award™ Winners Honored in Dublin

Airlines from Africa, Europe, North and South America Were Recognized for Extraordinary Cabin Service, Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Seat Comfort & Wi-Fi

DUBLIN, IRELAND (25 May 2023) – The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) honored the 2023 APEX Regional Passenger Choice Award™ winners from Africa, Europe, North America, and South America in Dublin, Ireland on 24 May. The Awards Ceremony, which was held during FTE EMEA/Ancillary/World Airport Retailing Summit, recognized airlines in these regions for providing the best passenger experiences in Cabin Service, Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Seat Comfort & Wi-Fi.

The Best in Entertainment Award winners were recently celebrated during APEX’s Content Market, the only industry marketplace exclusively focused on connecting in-flight entertainment content buyers with worldwide content distributors. Additionally, winners of the 2023 APEX Global Passenger Choice Awards® were announced at the APEX/IFSA Awards Ceremony during APEX/IFSA EXPO in Los Angeles, California, USA in October.

The airlines are awarded based on neutral, third-party passenger feedback and input through APEX’s partnership with TripIt® from Concur®, the world’s highest-rated travel-organizing app. More than one million flights were rated by passengers using a five-star scale with data gathered across nearly 600 airlines from around the world. Passengers were given the opportunity to rate their overall flight experience from one to five stars along with providing anonymous ratings in five subcategories including best seat comfort, best cabin service, best food & beverage, best entertainment, and best Wi-Fi. This single screen rating allows passengers to quickly rate their flight experience in less than 15 seconds.
