The APEX Experience Magazine team rounds up their favorite pre-flight safety videos.

Delta’s “80s In-Flight Safety Video” (2014)

Terri Potratz, Editor
The Delta 80’s video holds a special place in my heart as it’s the first non-traditional pre-flight video I’ve seen in air. And, well, ALF.

United Airlines’ “B767-300 Safety Video” (OLD-SCHOOL)

Al St. Germain, Publisher
I am going to be the iconoclast, but this old school UA Video just brings me back… just too much.

Air Arabia’s “Kids!” (2012)

Katie Sehl, Copy Editor
Instead of going the flashy, sometimes over-produced song-and-dance route, Air Arabia opts for a simple, but strong (and adorable) concept of filling a plane in its entirety with children. The result: Safety at its cutest. Plus, by getting kids to demonstrate safety, AirArabia puts the “even kids can do it” cliché to good use.

Southwest Airlines’ Flight Attendant (2014)

Ella Ponomarov, Research Assistant
Although it’s not an official SWA safety video, I think this flight attendant’s version is pretty good.

Air New Zealand’s “Mile High Madness with Richard Simmons! #RICHROLL” (2011)

Arjun Basu, Senior VP Content Strategy at Spafax
So annoying. But… still, it’s Richard Simmons. And the cameos! Spot the B-List celebrity! Air New Zealand has the most creative in-flight video group going.

Virgin America’s “Safety Video” (2007)

Arjun Basu, Senior VP Content Strategy at Spafax
I always liked this one. A lot. Might still be my favorite of all time. The animation is great. And the humor is so subtle and droll, I find something funny every time I watch it.
