Captive Entertainment has hired Harrison Poste, son of the company’s Co-Founder Paul Poste, to manage sales and operations.

In his new role, he will work under the guidance and mentorship of his father and colleague Deanna Bellama, who is now transitioning to a role in acquisitions.

Harrison recently graduated from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas (UNLV).  He has already helped Captive in the past at various film markets and APEX events. “I am very excited to work in such a fun industry that my dad has been passionate about for so many years,” Harrison said. “I look forward to getting acquainted with the business and everyone that works in it.”

Paul added, “We are very happy that Harrison is joining us to carry on the legacy of our business that is now nearly 24 years old.”

“I love the film markets and connecting with all the amazing people in the industry,” explained Deanna. “I’m so grateful to have Harrison coming on as part of our team and feel his strengths will help Captive continue to grow.”

Captive Entertainment was founded in September 2000. It has been a leading distributor of feature films to the airline market for nearly 24 years, handling box office hits such as London Has Fallen and Bombshell

The company used the 2023 APEX IFSA Global EXPO to launch sales for American blockbuster Sound of Freedom, which accumulated nearly $200 million at the US box office.

Furthermore, last September, Captive Entertainment announced it had acquired Millennium Media’s library of over 300 titles for distribution across non-theatrical markets.
