Thought Leadership to Take Center Stage at APEX FTE EXPO in Singapore
Share

In direct response to member feedback, APEX is bringing the thought leadership component of its APEX FTE EXPO event into sharper focus. The show has been designed to provide exhibitors and attendees with a multitude of opportunities to engage with compelling keynote sessions and panel discussions across a wide variety of topics spanning the end-to-end passenger journey.
For the first time since APEX and FTE events have been united, exhibitors will have access to both the APEX and FTE Premium Conference Stages, as well as to the EXPO stage, which is based on the show floor and open to all delegates. APEX strongly believes that enabling entry into both conference stages for exhibitors creates a dynamic environment for industry cooperation and collaboration across the on-ground and in-air passenger experience.
“By opening up a gateway between the APEX and FTE conferences, we’re giving delegates access to an unprecedented breadth of voices across the passenger journey.”

Exhibitors to Access Both APEX & FTE Premium Conferences
While the APEX Premium Conference sessions will examine the future of the inflight experience, focusing holistically on the concept of the “connected cabin,” the FTE Premium Conference will explore how the aviation sector can accelerate innovation across airport operations and the wider passenger journey. Both will feature keynotes interviews and group discussions delivered by industry-leading airline and airport CEOs.
Topics being addressed at the APEX Premium Conference include inflight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC); cabin innovation and interiors; onboard retail and ancillary revenue; content and digital platforms; passenger engagement and loyalty; and new technologies redefining the onboard experience.
Meanwhile, key areas of focus for the FTE Premium Conference are AI and digital transformation strategies; next-generation airport experiences; autonomous airport operations and robotics; commercial and ancillary revenue innovation; smart airport infrastructure and expansion planning; and end-to-end customer journey transformation.
The EXPO stage, based in the exhibition hall, will cover a mix of both FTE- and APEX-related content in a host of different formats, from fireside chats with C-Suite executives to interactive live product demos, case studies and more traditional panel sessions.
There will also be content relating to the International Flight Services Association (IFSA) and its member base complementing the “Inflight Services” zone on the exhibition floor, which is made up of an exclusive range of IFSA members.
Growing the APEX FTE EXPO Event & Attendee ROI
“We are delighted to be bringing APEX members an all-new approach to our conference model at this year’s APEX FTE EXPO in Singapore that is more in line with what they want: to maximize their exposure to inspiring thought leadership content,” said FTE Managing Director Max Gosney.
“By opening up a gateway between the APEX and FTE conferences, we’re giving delegates access to an unprecedented breadth of voices across the passenger journey, so that they leave the show brimming with fresh insights and new perspectives,” he continued.
APEX Group CEO Dr. Joe Leader added, “We’re confident that doing so will foster deeper communication among different parties compared with past events, which means the association is simultaneously adhering to its mission of elevating the passenger experience and providing exhibitors a greater return on investment. The move also brings us closer to our goal of establishing the world’s largest end-to-end passenger experience event.
“Although 85 per cent of our exhibition floor is already accounted for, we are still keen to hear from both APEX members, as well as companies based in the Asia-Pacific region with an interest in connecting with our global member base, that are interested in attending,” he concluded.
