Ireland-based brand management and distribution company Monster Entertainment is showcasing a host of new content at the 2026 APEX Content Market in Dubai, including musicals, a new genre for the company.
Musicals Monster Entertainment now has on offer for the in-flight entertainment (IFE) market include Bat Out of Hell – The Musical; Girl from the North Country, which features the music of Bob Dylan; and A Night with Janis Joplin. Its newest slate also includes documentaries including Olivia Hussey, the Girl on the Balcony, which follows the life of the teenage star of Romeo & Juliet from her upbringing in Argentina through to her career in Hollywood; and Midnight Movies, about unconventional, low-budget films that rose to popularity in the US in the 1970s.
“Kids love our funny, action-packed animation series and JAM produces some of Europe’s best animation.”

“We’ve taken them on because we’ve seen a renewed interest in musicals and the escapism and excitement which comes with them, as is evidenced by Bat out of Hell being released theatrically in the UK,” Monster Entertainment CEO Andrew Fitzpatrick explained. “They’re perfect for in-flight for the same reason and, in licensing them, airlines will be able to stay ahead of the curve.”
Fitzpatrick said the company has been providing music documentaries and conterts for the in-flight market since 1998 and has sold music programming to over 100 airlines. Although not yet in its catalog, Fitzpatrick shared his excitement about The Great Irish Song Book, which will be available in March, and Season 10 of Memory Lane, a music documentary series featuring footage from the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Monster Entertainment has also updated its selection of animated movies to include Outfoxed!, Jungle Beat 2 – The Past, and 3 Little Kungpoo Goats, which was produced in Dubai. The company holds in-flight worldwide rights for all three titles. Fitzpatrick commented, “We are excited to be able to offer locally produced content in Dubai. Animated movies are a perennial favourite and these, like the rest of the animated films we offer, are smart and offer something for the whole family.”

In addition, it holds the North America Rights for animated movies Ghost Cat Anzu, The Girl who leapt through time, Summer Wars, Wolf Children, and Mindgame.
Furthermore, last week Monster Entertainment acquired the sales rights for the Jam Media catalog. Upcoming highlights from the UK and Ireland-based kids and family studio that will be available to Monster Entertainment’s clients include global hit animated series Becca’s Bunch (Nickelodeon), animated/live-action hybrid series Jessy and Nessy (Prime Video), Tilly and Friends (CBeebies), live-action show Nova Jones (CBBC) and prequel series Little Roy (RTE kids/CBBC). “Kids love our funny, action-packed animation series and JAM produces some of Europe’s best animation,” said Fitzpatrick.
