Long Beach, CA. USA – It was standing room only as the airline industry gathered for the APEX/IFSA Awards Ceremony during APEX/IFSA EXPO for the announcement of the most anticipated airline recognitions, the APEX Official Airline Ratings™ and 2023 Global APEX Passenger Choice Awards® – the only honors based entirely on verified passenger feedback.
The 2023 APEX Official Airline Ratings™ recognizes airlines in four categories: Global Airlines, Major Airlines, Regional Airlines and Low Cost Carriers.
As part of the recognitions APEX also announced winners of the 2023 Global APEX Passenger Choice Awards®. Delta Air Lines took home the Passenger Choice Award® for Best Wi-Fi, Emirates received the Passenger Choice Award® for Best Entertainment, and Korean Air received the Passenger Choice Award® for Best Cabin Service. The airlines selected were honored as the top global airlines in their respective categories, as rated by their passengers.

Airlines listen to the feedback make changes that increase and improve the in-flight experience for their passengers, which is why APEX is proud to recognize these airlines.”
APEX once again partnered with TripIt® from Concur®, the number one travel management app in the world. Nearly one million flights were rated by passengers across more than 600 airlines from around the world using a five-star scale. On the same screen, passengers were given the opportunity to provide anonymous ratings in the honored categories. The single screen rating allows airline passengers to easily rate their flight in less than 15 seconds.
The honors were announced during the APEX/IFSA Awards Ceremony at the 2022 APEX/IFSA EXPO. The event was sponsored in part by cinesend, gategroup, Smize Cream and Thales.
Other awards given out during the APEX/IFSA Awards Ceremony include the APEX World Class and APEX/IFSA Awards. Individuals were also recognized during the evening.
