Air Caraïbes and Atlantic Airways have partnered with Moment to introduce wireless in-flight entertainment (IFE) across eight aircraft serving the Caribbean and North Atlantic. The service now operates on four ATR 72 aircraft at Air Caraïbes, bringing IFE to its regional fleet for the first time, and four Airbus A320 aircraft at Atlantic Airways. Both airlines use Moment’s Flymingo Box technology, allowing passengers to watch movies, television shows, and other entertainment on their personal devices without traditional seatback screens.
Air Caraïbes Introduces IFE on Regional Flights
Air Caraïbes operates regional flights connecting Caribbean destinations, including Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe, Fort-de-France in Martinique, and Saint-Martin. Its ATR 72 aircraft serve these short inter-island routes, where a portable entertainment system offers a practical option for the airline’s regional operations.
To bring entertainment to these flights, Air Caraïbes selected Moment’s Flymingo Box, a compact wireless server that streams content directly to passengers’ smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The system runs on battery power rather than drawing electricity from the aircraft, making it suitable for the airline’s regional operations.

Passengers can access the entertainment through Air Caraïbes’ iZi Vision portal, which offers movies, television series, children’s programming, podcasts, games, and digital publications. The content library includes English and French options to serve passengers traveling across the airline’s Caribbean network.
“At Air Caraïbes, we are dedicated to making every journey smoother, more comfortable, and connected,” said Air Caraïbes CEO Karen Virapin. “Rolling out the Flymingo Box solution reflects this commitment by giving our passengers access to modern inflight entertainment directly on their own devices.”
Atlantic Airways Introduces Wireless IFE With Atlantic Connect
Atlantic Airways, the national carrier of the Faroe Islands, has introduced Moment’s Flymingo Box on four Airbus A320 aircraft. The airline operates from Vágar Airport and connects the Faroe Islands with European destinations, including Copenhagen, Paris, London, Oslo, and Edinburgh.
Unlike Air Caraïbes, Atlantic Airways uses an aircraft-powered version of Flymingo Box. The airline also uses Moment’s Mood platform, which combines entertainment, onboard services, and passenger engagement features in one place.
Passengers can access the entertainment through Atlantic Connect, the airline’s branded onboard platform. The service offers movies, television series, children’s programming, podcasts, games, and digital publications in English, French, German, Spanish, and Faroese.

Offering content in five languages gives passengers more entertainment choices when traveling across Atlantic Airways’ European network. The partnership also supports the airline’s efforts to expand its digital services and provide a consistent onboard experience across its fleet.
“Our passengers are at the heart of everything we do, and we want their time onboard to be as enjoyable as possible,” said Atlantic Airways CEO Jóhanna á Bergi. “With Atlantic Connect, developed in partnership with Moment, we’re giving passengers more entertainment choices and making their journey with us even better.”
Moment has continued expanding its wireless IFE business through partnerships with airlines around the world. In October 2026, Tajikistan’s flag carrier, Somon Air, announced plans to introduce wireless IFE across eight Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft using Moment’s Flymingo Box and Mood platform, bringing in-flight entertainment to the airline for the first time.
“Through its support of Caribbean and North Atlantic operators, Moment affirms its commitment to delivering innovative, scalable digital solutions to airlines connecting island communities across the globe,” said Moment CEO and Co-founder Tanguy Morel. “These partnerships underscore our ability to operate in complex environments while providing flexible entertainment solutions tailored to the realities of regional and island networks.”
