Spafax will bring the latest developments across its Spafax One Digital Suite to APEX FTE EXPO in Singapore. The suite combines content, technology, media, commerce, connectivity, and data to give airlines more ways to reach travelers throughout their trip. At APEX FTE EXPO, Spafax plans to demonstrate how those tools can create more relevant digital experiences and open new opportunities for airlines.

Connecting More of the Passenger Journey

Spafax One brings together several parts of the passenger experience that often operate separately. Airlines can use its entertainment, streaming, advertising, commerce, connectivity, and data capabilities individually or combine them based on their needs.

“The real value of Spafax One comes from connecting those capabilities around the passenger,” Spafax SVP Global Business Development Dimitrios Tsirangelos explained. “Content can generate engagement, data can make that engagement more relevant, connectivity extends when and where passengers can interact, and media and commerce create opportunities to turn that engagement into value.”

Spafax wants to create more continuity as travelers move through different stages of a trip. Content discovery, destination information, offers, and other services can carry across multiple touchpoints instead of requiring passengers to start over each time. “The biggest opportunity is creating continuity across the journey rather than starting again at every touchpoint,” Tsirangelos noted.

Airlines do not need to adopt every product at once. They can start with individual services and add others as their needs change, giving them more flexibility in how they build their digital offering.

Tsirangelos explained that carriers increasingly want greater flexibility, smarter personalization, and clearer commercial results. “Those conversations are directly shaping Spafax One as we continue to build solutions that can work independently while becoming even more powerful when connected, utilizing data, audiences, and experiences across the journey,” he explained.

Making Each Interaction More Relevant

Spafax sees an opportunity to move away from giving every traveler the same digital experience. Instead, airlines can use context to decide what may matter most to someone at a certain point in the trip. Tsirangelos described the company’s approach as “moving from the same experience for every passenger toward experiences that respond to context.”

That context could shape content discovery, recommendations, destination information, advertising, offers, or other services. Spafax focuses on whether a new tool improves the trip rather than adding technology without a clear purpose.

“We start with the passenger need, not the technology,” Tsirangelos noted. “A new product or touchpoint has to make the journey easier, more engaging or more relevant.”

Data gives carriers another way to understand traveler preferences, behavior, and engagement. Airlines can use that information to shape what people see and how they interact with different services.

“Airlines are becoming much more sophisticated in how they use data to understand passenger preferences, behavior and engagement,” Tsirangelos explained. Spafax believes personalization should remain useful and relevant while improving the experience rather than becoming the goal itself.

The company takes the same approach when developing new products. A new service needs to improve the trip and create measurable value for both the traveler and the airline.

Turning Engagement Into New Opportunities

Spafax sees additional potential when advertising, commerce, loyalty, and content work more closely together. Understanding what interests a traveler can help carriers shape partnerships, offers, and other commercial opportunities.

“We see significant opportunity where advertising, commerce, loyalty, and content start working together,” Tsirangelos explained. “If an airline understands what is engaging a passenger, that insight can support more relevant brand partnerships, offers, and commerce opportunities.”

For Spafax, the goal does not center on showing travelers more advertisements. Airlines can instead use engagement to make offers more useful while creating value for the carrier and its advertising partners.

At APEX FTE EXPO, Spafax will demonstrate how these different areas can work together. Visitors will be able to explore content discovery, digital engagement, data, media, and monetization within the Digital Suite.

“Visitors will be able to experience the Spafax One Digital Suite and see how our solutions come together across the passenger journey,” Tsirangelos explained. Attendees will get a closer look at how those services could fit into an airline’s existing digital offering.

“Most importantly, they’ll have the opportunity to meet our global team and explore what these capabilities could look like for their own airline,” Tsirangelos said.

Spafax will showcase the latest developments across its Spafax One Digital Suite at booth 501 during APEX FTE EXPO, highlighting personalization, digital engagement, and new commercial opportunities for airlines.
