ECA Group, PXCom and Global One Media Partner for IFE Solution

After having launched a lightweight wireless access point (WAP) and an “all-in-one” product that integrates a WAP and media server at APEX Asia in March, ECA Group has now inked a deal with industry partners that turns the hardware into a turnkey solution.
PXCom brings the software and Global One Media the content, and together the partners say they deliver an in-flight entertainment solution that minimizes costs and eases installation. “An easy solution is a turnkey solution,” said Mohamad ElAssad, CEO, Global One Media, at the contract signing on Tuesday. “Together, we provide a box that has all the content and the software already, making it easier for airline customers – from beginning to end.”
