Last month, a new partnership with private jet expedition company TCS World Travel saw Spafax deliver a premium, personalized entertainment experience designed to match one of TCS’ once-in-a-lifetime itineraries.
Elevating the Private Jet Experience
For more than 30 years, TCS World Travel has been a leader in private jet journeys, taking guests to over 200 destinations on carefully planned global adventures. Known for its rich cultural experiences and exceptional attention to detail, the company is now extending that same care to the digital experience through its collaboration with Spafax.
Guests will now be able to enjoy a curated mix of films, documentaries, and audio content designed to reflect the themes and destinations of each expedition. From exploring ancient temples, remote islands, or modern capitals, travelers can engage with stories that prepare them for the experiences ahead. Each journey will feature content inspired by its destinations, giving travelers a deeper connection to the places and cultures that they will explore.
“With Spafax’s support, we can give our guests entertainment that’s dynamic and curated, complementing the itineraries themselves.”

This approach builds on Spafax’s strength in combining storytelling and technology to create engaging in-flight experiences. By blending cinematic narratives with TCS’s unique trips, the partnership turns the flight into the start of the adventure instead of just the time between destinations.
Technology Behind the Experience
At the core of this new offering is Spafax’s cloud-based delivery platform, which allows for faster, more flexible updates to in-flight entertainment (IFE) content. Using this system, programming can be refreshed closer to each trip’s departure date, ensuring relevance and accuracy. For a journey as dynamic as a private jet expedition, where routes and destinations often change, that flexibility is essential.
The planned second phase of the project will integrate Axinom’s Cloud-based Streaming using Starlink connectivity, enabling even more rapid content updates and live streaming capabilities. Guests will enjoy smoother access, higher-quality playback, and real-time updates that align with the evolving narrative of their expedition.

Storytelling as a Form of Exploration
TCS World Travel has always been about the discovery of places, people, and perspectives. Through its partnership with Spafax, that spirit now extends to storytelling. “It’s about enriching the journey through innovation,” said Brenda Wasserman, Global Brand Marketing Director at TCS World Travel. “With Spafax’s support, we can give our guests entertainment that’s dynamic and curated, complementing the itineraries themselves.”
Instead of offering a fixed library of content, Spafax is creating a living, adaptable media experience that evolves with each journey. A passenger flying to Easter Island, for example, would find documentaries about Polynesian navigation, while another headed to Marrakesh could explore films about North African art and culture. These details add depth, helping travelers connect emotionally and intellectually before arrival.

This personalized approach reflects a growing trend in luxury travel: using technology to make experiences more meaningful. By aligning digital content with each trip’s destination and theme, TCS and Spafax turn IFE into an extension of the journey, one that reflects each traveler’s curiosity and sense of exploration.
The collaboration also marks a new direction in how luxury travel is defined. Once centered mainly on comfort and fine dining, modern luxury now includes digital storytelling, seamless connectivity, and emotional engagement.
“Spafax and Mcqueen Films have successfully combined information, emotions, and our signature SWISS aesthetic into a memorable piece that will accompany our guests for many years to come.”

For Spafax, the partnership represents an expansion beyond commercial aviation, building on its expertise in content strategy and technology to serve a smaller, more exclusive audience. For TCS, bringing Spafax on board reinforces its reputation for innovation and guest experience.
Expanding the Art of Storytelling
The new collaboration with TCS comes alongside another creative milestone for Spafax: the production of Swiss International Air Lines’ new safety video in partnership with Mcqueen Films.
Replacing the animated version that had been in service for over a decade, the new SWISS safety video takes an entirely new audio-visual approach, centering on real people, authentic stories, and Swiss landscapes. Filmed across Switzerland, the video combines safety instruction with emotional resonance.

Spafax Studio developed the concept, served as executive producer, and oversaw post-production, while Mcqueen Films handled on-the-ground coordination and cinematography.
“Working closely together, Spafax and Mcqueen Films have successfully combined information, emotions, and our signature SWISS aesthetic into a memorable piece that will accompany our guests for many years to come,” said SWISS Head of Marketing Stefan Vasic.
The video will premiere aboard SWISS’s first Airbus A350 delivery flight from Toulouse to Zurich before rolling out across the entire fleet during the winter season.
