Aviation fashion season has begun with Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME), showcasing the latest aircraft interiors trends in Dubai World Trade Centre, at the heart of the aviation industry’s booming Middle East aviation market and focuses on solutions to common challenges the industry faces in the cabin.
Textile and leather products are must-haves, but finding the right threads can be difficult. The materials which furnish an aircraft must look good, pass stringent certification requirements, and be durable, light and easy to maintain. Airlines need make the most of limited cabin space and passengers demand comfort. Industry expert consultant and author of Jetliner Cabins, Jennifer Coutts Clay, has highlighted the importance of green cabins and urged the industry to develop more Eco-friendly products. AIME puts solutions to these priorities center-stage for the opening of the event.
